About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Cary, NC, Pho Thien Phat Vietnamese Noodle House is a culinary gem that masterfully captures the essence of authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Specializing in hearty and soulful noodle bowls, this Vietnamese restaurant offers an inviting no-frills atmosphere where the spotlight remains firmly on the rich, comforting flavors that define their menu.

At Pho Thien Phat, diners are welcomed by the fragrant, slow-simmered broths that form the foundation of their celebrated pho. The Beef Pho (Pho Tai Nam Gau Gan Sach) is a standout, boasting a deeply aromatic and savory broth that gently envelopes tender slices of beef eye of round and flank. The texture contrasts—the delicate slices paired with the richness of beef tendon and brisket—create a symphony of flavors that lingers long after the last sip. For those who crave a bolder, spicier experience, the Bun Bo Hue Spicy Beef & Pork Shank Vermicelli delivers a vibrant, spicy kick that awakens the palate without overpowering the authentic depth of the broth.

The menu showcases an expertly curated lineup beyond noodle soups as well. The Shrimp & Pork Spring Rolls (Goi Cuon Tom Thit) offer a refreshing and light starter, wrapped in translucent rice paper filled with fresh herbs, shrimp, and pork—a perfect contrast to the warm bowls of pho. The Beef Fried Rice (Com Chien Bo) is generously portioned, with each grain infused with savory notes and tender chunks of beef that make it a hearty and satisfying choice. Adventurous diners will appreciate the specialty dishes like the Xi Quach (Bone Marrow), which brings a decadently rich and silky texture to the table, paired expertly with their aromatic broths.

No meal at Pho Thien Phat would be complete without sampling their signature Vietnamese drinks. The Black Milk Tea and Sweet Tea balance sweetness and robust tea flavors, while the Che 3 Mau is a delightful, colorful dessert beverage that adds a refreshing, sweet end to the dining experience. For coffee lovers, the range of Vietnamese iced and hot coffees, including the iconic Ca Phe Sua Da, offer a rich, bold kick to awaken the senses.

The dining atmosphere mirrors the sincerity of the cuisine—unpretentious, welcoming, and focused on delivering undeniable flavor. Here, solo diners and groups alike savor their meals in a calm environment, free from distractions, allowing the food to speak for itself. Customer feedback highlights the warmth of the service team, attentive to guests’ needs and eager to share knowledge about dishes, enhancing both the comfort and authenticity of the visit.

While some patrons have noted slight variations in broth temperature or meat texture, the consensus remains that Pho Thien Phat Vietnamese Noodle House consistently serves authentic, deeply satisfying Vietnamese food that resonates with both newcomers and longtime aficionados.

For those craving a genuine taste of Vietnam, Pho Thien Phat offers a flavorful journey within each bowl and plate, promising an experience that comforts, excites, and keeps you coming back for more.

Ordered the eye of round pho but they def gave me eye of round and I think flank. I'm not the type to send anything back and figured I'd try it. Wasn't bad I just don't like the texture or the fat that's on the flank or whatever it was because it's a lot and it's like a rubber band trying to get through it. The broth was really good but not has hot as it normally is at the other places I go. The service was really good and they took care of anything I needed while balancing what seemed to be a steady stream of pickup orders. The egg rolls were ok and the sauce for them was ok. I was sat kind of in front of the area where orders get picked up so there was always someone staring while I ate which was weird and if I had known before my food came I would have requested another table. I was also right where the kitchen staff went in and out so there was a lot of commotion. I would definitely come back for the pho and probably try the fried rice because it looked really good when I saw the waitress taking it to another table.

Came in and was immediately seated and waited on. I ordered the Bo Kho with rice noodles, which is a beef stew type of thing. Portion and taste was great! Definitely a favorite

Pho Thien Phat Vietnamese Noodle House in Cary is the real deal when it comes to authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I believe it to be the most recent and third addition to the Pho Thien Phat empire. This is a no-frills restaurant where the focus is entirely on the food, and it shows. You know it’s REALLY good, when you see many solo diners sitting by themselves and quietly enjoying their authentic bowl of pho noodle soup. From the moment you walk in, the experience is simple and welcoming. A kind lady takes your order, and just minutes later, another brings out your pho on a push cart, steaming hot and ready to enjoy. The service is fast, friendly, and efficient. I ordered the #1 Special Pho for $17. While the price might seem high to some, it is absolutely worth it. The rice noodles are fresh and perfectly cooked. The brisket and thinly sliced beef finish cooking in the hot broth as you stir in fresh herbs and vegetables. The broth itself is outstanding. It is deeply flavorful, not too salty, and has a clean, rich taste that speaks to careful preparation. One unique option is the ability to add bone marrow to your pho for an extra charge, a touch that adds richness and authenticity to the meal. Pho Thien Phat doesn’t rely on trends or flashy presentation. It delivers excellent, traditional pho made with care and high-quality ingredients. If you're in Cary and want a truly satisfying bowl of pho, this is the place to go. Afterward, I walked over to MilkLab around the corner for some bubble tea, which made for a perfect ending to the meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Vietnamese pho done right.

Absolutely loved eating here. Saw it recommended off of TikTok and knew I had to try it. The service was amazing, our lovely waitress was attentive and answered all our questions <3 Got their chicken spring roll appetizer with peanut sauce, it was really good. I got their chicken pho small portion and it was perfect. My mom got their crispy pork belly Bahn Mi both were delicious we were both super happy. Their real fruit mango smoothie was also delicious. Definitely recommend and will be wanting to come back next time!

The pho was 4.5, the broth was missing something. Egg rolls always hit. The service was good, the waiter may have been new or the pos system may have been new. We would have loved to KNOW automatic gratuity is included for our party of 6. The restaurant was clean, the staff was overall nice.

Stopped in for lunch while in the area and looking for Pho. This place was awesome! The Pho was very good and the broth super tasty. Chili oil was excellent. In addition they offer fresh squeezed sugarcane juice!!! Which was amazing! Service was very good, with everyone being attentive of clearing plates from the table when needed. The only reason for the 4 stars on the atmosphere was the entry way to the restaurant is quite warm and could benefit from some A/C (though it may have just not been working when we visited ). Outside of that the inside of the restaurant is very nicely decorated and spacious.

The pho came with a generous amount of meat, and all the other dishes were delicious as well. The vermicelli and the rice dish were also incredibly tasty. Highly recommend!

Authentic Vietnamese food that has that homemade touch! Really enjoyed this restaurant and found the broth to be made well as shown by how many bones they use for their bone marrow dishes. The fresh rice paper rolls are simple but paired with sauces that are super tasty. My favorite was the Bun Rieu that had a great crab and tomato soup base full of flavor that I really enjoyed. The service was pretty quick and nice too. The ambiance is pretty casual and welcoming so good for take out or to grab a table. Would come back when visiting again!
